도심 속 작은 유럽, 시간의 결을 걷다.

본 프로젝트는 '프랑스 정통 베이커리'라는 본질에 집중하여, 바쁜 도심 속에서 유럽의 한적한 골목을 마주한 듯한 경험을 선사합니다. 천연발효종으로 빚어낸 빵처럼 공간 역시 인위적인 기교를 덜어내고 소재 본연의 물성을 강조하여, 브랜드가 추구하는 '건강한 신뢰감'을 공간 전체로 확장했습니다.

기존 건축물이 가진 거친 벽돌의 흔적과 각종 구멍,크랙 위에 유럽 미장을 덧입힌 벽면은, 시간이 켜켜이 쌓인 듯한 깊이 있는 텍스처를 만들어냅니다. 여기에 묵직한 오크톤의 고재와 빈티지 타일이 더해져, 오래된 공간이 주는 특유의 편안함을 완성합니다.

높은 노출 천장 아래 자연스럽게 배치된 플랜테리어는 실내를 마치 야외 테라스처럼 느끼게 하며, 갓 구운 빵 내음이 퍼지는 오픈 키친과 따스한 라탄 조명은 방문객의 오감을 만족시키는 미식의 휴식처가 됩니다.

공간 곳곳에 배치된 라탄 가구와 우드, 스틸 소재가 믹스된 펜던트 조명은 이국적인 정취를 한층 고조시키는 핵심 오브제입니다. 거친 벽면을 타고 흐르는 은은한 조명 빛은 유럽미장 고유의 질감을 입체적으로 살려내며, 낮에는 창을 통해 들어오는 자연광과 어우러지고 밤에는 차분하고 아늑한 무드를 자아내어 머무는 이들에게 일상 속 작은 여행 같은 여유를 선물합니다.

A Stroll in Little Europe: Walking Through the Layers of Time.

Focusing on the essence of an 'Authentic French Bakery,' this project offers an escape from the busy city, evoking the feeling of stumbling upon a quiet European alleyway. Much like sourdough bread crafted with natural leaven, the design eschews artificial ornamentation in favor of emphasizing the inherent physical properties of the materials. This approach extends the brand's core value of 'wholesome reliability' throughout the entire space.

The walls feature European plaster applied over the rough irregularities and cracks of the existing structure, creating a deep, layered texture that suggests the passage of time. Complementing this are heavy oak-toned reclaimed wood and vintage tiles, which complete the unique sense of comfort found in aged spaces.

Natural greenery placed beneath the high, exposed ceiling blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating the ambiance of an open-air terrace. The open kitchen, wafting with the scent of freshly baked bread, combined with the warm glow of rattan lighting, creates a sensory sanctuary that satisfies the five senses of every visitor.

Rattan furniture placed throughout the space, along with pendant lights mixing wood and steel, serve as key objects that heighten the exotic atmosphere. Soft light washing over the rough walls accentuates the three-dimensional texture unique to the European plaster. Harmonizing with natural daylight during the day and creating a calm, cozy mood at night, the space gifts visitors a moment of leisure, like a brief journey away from their daily lives.
